Event Details:
Cincinnati Friends Meeting Minister, Jim Newby, will share an overview of Quaker thought and
testimonies, and will talk about the establishment of the Quaker tradition by founder George Fox in the
late 17th century. Meeting Historian, Sabrina Darnowsky, will share about the more than 200 years
history of Cincinnati Friends Meeting. A ‘Question and Answer’ session will then be followed by a
taste of the silence that Quakers call Open Worship. Light refreshments will be enjoyed after the
program.
